D., what are your thoughts on Pluto? Is it a planet or not? In my humble opinion, I think Pluto got a bum rap.
ReplyDeleteKicky, the multiverse proves too slippery for the nets we use to capture it. This is just an adjustment to the net, one among many. We are hunters of meaning and this is just a means to increase our ability to hunt for understanding what may be hundreds of objects just like Pluto. Pluto, small fish in the small pond of now eight planets, but big fish (though not the biggest)in the big pond of dwarf planets. Can you recite the first five? Me neither. (Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris)
